Bhubaneswar: Kalinga Association for Protection of Culture and Heritage (KAPOCH) is going to celebrate Utkal Divas 2018 in a grand retrospective manner like last year, said the Chairman Mr. Sangram Keshari Paikray while addressing a press meet organised here on 27th March 2018 at Hotel Kalinga Ashoka, Bhubaneswar.
Mr. Paikray also informed that Union Minister for Petroleum, Natural Gas, Skill Development and Entrepreneur Shri Dharmednra Pradhan is scheduled to inaugurate the grand celebration on the auspicious occasion of Utkal Divas at Baramunda Ground, Bhubaneswar.
Famous Bollywood singer Kailash Kher will be the centre of attraction of this show. Bollywood fame along with his troop will perform in the cultural programme, which is going to be organised at the ground. On this occasion Shri Paikray launched a video message of Kailash Kher on Making of New Odisha and Vande Utkala Janani for Odias. Ollywood fames will also perform.
During this celebration Union Minister will distinguish honours to many Odia talents who achieve different milestone in various fields. Odia Swabhiman Pradarshani depicting Glory of Odisha will be showcased. General Mass will also relish the taste of authentic Odia food, informed Mr. Paikray. A photo exhibition on Odisha’s culture, heritage and Odia folk art will also enthrals the congregated throng which is going to be dedicated for the nation on 31st March 2018 in the afternoon.
Mr. Paikray flagged off the mobile vans which will spread awareness about the programme for Utkal Divas in the nearby areas.
Mr. Paikrai invites youths to join in these celebrations.
Among others Secretary, KAPOCH, Shri Chitta Ranjan Mohanty, advisor Shri Harekrushna Khuntia and other members of KAPOCH were also present during this press meet.
