Bhubaneswar: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan attended a workshop on ‘The Role of Skill India in Modern Era’ organised by State Private ITI Association at Bhubaneswar. He deliberated with enterpreneurs & students on the need to focus on the quality of education and adopting new technology and innovation for learning.
“Odisha is a knowledge based state. ITIs have changed the trend here and helped create new entrepreneurs. ITI and skill eduction is changing lives of poor students in the state. Odia youths are changing the trend and are becoming entrepreneurs & are now creating job opportunities”, said Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
“In odisha we have to provide more job opportunity to young boys and girls in their home region, for this we have to enhance the quality of education to meet the challenges and requirements of job opportunities across the globe. Long and short term skilling in ITIs can provide better opportunities to the youths. Service sector across the globe is developing and education can be a big enabler in synchronising changing technology and innovative skills”, said Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
