Dhamra: On the occasion of 72nd Independence Day celebration Dhamra Port CEO Subrat Tripathy hoisted the National Flag at port premises and greeted all the employees and locals of the port peripheral area. Shri. Tripathy, during his speech, emphasized on sustainable growth at all levels of the society, economic and environmental dimensions. He appealed to the employees and family members to maintain safety norms strictly at work place, at home and on road. In the occasion, the security personnel of Port and Fire & Safety team performed the parade and saluted the national flag. To commemorate the occasion, awards were given to employees for their commendable work.
On this occasion port employees and locals also observed one minute silence and prayer to remember the sacrifices of martyrs of Eram situated in Bhadrak district and port workers who died last year.
At the end, Cdr. Sunil Thomas, Head – Security gave vote of thanks.
