New Delhi: Deepika Padukone takes up WHO’s Safe Hands challenge, nominates Roger Federer, Cristiano Ronaldo, Virat Kohli.

On Friday, World Health Organisation’s Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus had taken to his Twitter page and nominated Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Deepika Padukone to take up Safe Hands challenge amidst coronavirus pandemic. He had tweeted, “I now nominate @deepikapadukone @priyankachopra @Schwarzenegger @CTurlington to take the #SafeHands challenge by sharing their video & calling on at least another 3 people to join us! Together, we can beat #COVID19!” Finally, Deepika has accepted the challenge.

The actor took to her Twitter page and quote tweet Tedros’ tweet with a video in which she is seen washing her hands with soap in the right way as WHO had said. Deepika shot the video inside her bathroom wearing a bathrobe and covered her face with a mask. The video has Bob Marley’s 1977 iconic song ‘Three Little Birds’ in the background.
