Deep Depression likely to turn into a Cyclonic Storm during next 24 hours; yet to be clear whether it will hit Odisha or not

Bhubaneswar: IMD DG Mrutyunjay Mohapatra informs that the Depression over East-central & adjoining southeast Bay of Bengal & North Andaman Sea has intensified into a Deep Depression & very likely to turn into a Cyclonic Storm during next 24 hours.

Centred at 810 km south-southeast of Paradip, system is moving with a speed of 6 kmph west -northwestwards. However, it is yet to be clear whether it will hit Odisha. But north coastal belt of State will witness more rain & wind under impact of the storm on Nov 9 & 10 says IMD DG.
