New Delhi: Death toll in Northeast Delhi violence rises to 34, over 200 injured. Police say the role of outsiders being probed. The situation is peaceful and under control, no incident was reported last night says Delhi Police source.

On Thursday morning, the death toll from days of communal violence in Northeast Delhi rose to 34. Areas affected include Jaffrabad, Maujpur, Shiv Vihar and Chand Bagh.

Delhi Police Joint Commissioner OP Mishra during a flag march in Chand Bagh area announces, “Grocery, medical and other shops can be opened. There is nothing to fear, police are here for your security. Please don’t assemble in groups, especially the youth”.
