Cuttack: Reiterating their brand philosophy of ‘DilJode, DeshJode’, India’s largest producer of slag cement, Dalmia Bharat Cement(makers of Dalmia DSP and Konark Cement), a leader in specialty cements space, connected with the masses of Odisha at the recently concluded Baliyatra which commenced from November 4 and concluded today. Inaugurated by Mr. ManoranjanSahoo, Deputy Executive Director and Plant Head, Kapilas Cement Manufacturing Works in presence of Mr. Sameer Lawrence, Regional Head Sales and Mr. Manas Mishra, Senior Manager – Marketing, OCL India Limited. The Dalmia Pavilion at Baliyatra highlighted the various uses of using quality cement in construction work and construction best practices, remained as one of the key highlights of the recently concluded celebrations. The initiative, focused on educating people about specialized cements that can be used for different types of construction work.Dalmia Bharat Cement also came up with a huge 50 feet gate at the Baliyatra ground welcoming the incoming audience.
The audience were treated to fun filled puzzle games and successful participants were treated to a photo/selfieopportunitywith the iconic 3D ship and Dalmia Pavilion created by Dalmia Bharat. The 3D ship impersonated iconic structures built by DalmiaBharat across India through picture frames showcasing their reach across India. The ancient mariners Sadhabas from the Kalinga empire use to build the strongest ships to sail in the sea for yearsconnecting hearts and countries. This motif was taken as an inspiration by DalmiaBharat Cement where the use of the strongest Cement ‘Dalmia’ in building one’s dream home connects hearts with the Nation (DilJodeDeshJode) that last for years and generations. Participant families who were in the process of building a house or had plans in the future were given suggestions on best construction practices by industry experts at the venue. A family photo at the end of every puzzle game also remained a point of attraction for all participants.
Two of Dalmia Bharat Cement’s newest addition to their product line – DalmiaComposite Cement and Dalmia DSP were showcased at Baliyatra. Dalmia Cement pioneered slag cement with many befitting cement types for different stages of construction. By using slag, a waste material from steel industry, as its raw material, Dalmia Cement has proven determination to stay environment-friendly. It has been recognized as World’s Greenest Cement for its low carbon footprint based on GNR data of World Business Council for Sustainable Development’s Cement Sustainability Initiative.
