Berhmapur: Six persons of a family in Odisha’s Ganjam district went missing as their house swept away by flood waters
Rescue operation to trace 6 persons of a family, who went missing after their house got swept away by flood waters of Adangi river at Bhutapankal village in Bhanjanagar following CycloneTitli, begins, informs Ganjam Collector Vijay Amruta Kulange .

CM Naveen Patnaik reviewed the situation after landfall of Cyclone Titli and directed officials to rush adequate relief materials & restore essential services. As Cyclone Titli is expected to move to West Bengal through Odisha, he has ordered to remain watchful and prepared.

As Gajapati is the worst hit among the districts, CM Naveen Patnaik has directed to deploy two more NDRF teams. DMs have been asked to prepare reports on house and crop damage immediately and hailed achieving zero casualty target .

8 people have died in Srikakulam and Vijayanagaram districts of Andhra Pradesh due to Cyclone Titli. Power supply and communication systems are affected in both districts. Coastal villages are cut off from the mainland as the roads are damaged.
