CSR Stakeholders Meet at NTPC Talcher Kaniha

Kaniha:The annual CSR Stakeholders Meet of NTPC’s 2nd largest power station was organized today at Regional Learning Institute (RLI), NTPC Talcher Kaniha. The meet saw large participation by the Sarapanchs, Village Presidents and Secretaries of nearby villages of the power station.

The motto of this CSR stakeholder meet was to evaluate the value addition of CSR activities and understood the basic real needs of people village wise for taking appropriate action for conduct of CSR activities in periphery villages of NTPC Kaniha. On the occasion, stakeholders of the meet exhaustively gave their valuable feedbacks and opinions on various CSR activities undertaken and proposed CSR activities for consideration by NTPC management.

Chief Guest of this program, Shri Sudip Nag, Chief General Manager , NTPC Kaniha gave a patience hearing to the opinions and views shared by the various stakeholders. Shri Nag took interest in understanding each feedback received from participants. He shared some of the key CSR activities executed during in the current fiscal year.

At last, Shri Nag conveyed his gratitude to the stakeholders present for their active participation for making the program a success. On the occasion,CSR calendar published by CSR Dept in association with Corporate Communication Dept was inaugurated by the dignitaries present.

Shri K S Sarma,AGM(HR) said that CSR proposals should have maximum impact to the beneficiaries which is only possible , when it is done in long term basis.

During the inaugural session, Shri Jakir Khan, DGM(HR) and Shri A K Das ,Sr.Mgr(HR) shared the importance of the meet and stakeholders contribution in helping the power station in conducting CSR activities in and around the station.

On this Shri N S Rao ,GM(O&M),Shri Nabin Bagai ,GM(SSC-C&M),Shri PMGV Srinivas,AGM(RLI) Shri L R Mohanty ,AGM(Operation) , employees and representatives of unions were also present.
