Bhubaneswar: CS Sunita Mohanty, a fellow member of the Institute of Company Secretaries of India (ICSI) has been appointed as the new Chairperson of FICCI FLO Bhubaneswar Chapter for the year 2021-2022. FICCI FLO is the women’s wing of Federation of Indian Chamber of Commerce and Industry (FICCI) with the head quarter at Delhi and 17 chapters PAN INDIA representing around 8000+ women entrepreneurs across nation. FLO BHUBANESWAR is the 17th chapter launched on April 2020.
Sunita took the baton from outgoing Chairperson Dharitri Patnaik.
Sunita is a company secretary in practice with 19 years of experience in corporate advisory, legal, due diligence, joint ventures, audits of different statutes and corporate governance. She currently holds the position of Director and Founder of SMA e-Experts Pvt Ltd., 3rd Eye Screening and Consulting Pvt Ltd., Credence Re-defined Services Pvt Ltd., Ultimate Markdown Services Pvt Ltd. and Wellness Redefined Services Pvt Ltd. A philanthropist by nature, Sunita has contributed largely to the under privileged. She is also passionate to work for the development of women entrepreneurs of Odisha.
Speaking on her aim in her tenure at FICCI FLO, Sunita said, “My vision for this year is to bring a change for the women entrepreneurs of the state of Odisha, with prime focus on 3I i.e. INCLUDE, INSPIRE AND IMPACT. The primary focus will be on to INCLUDE its members and women entrepreneurs, INSPIRE them to reach out for their dreams and making a meaningful IMPACT by making them independent and self-reliant. Also to make the women of Odisha free spirited and help them achieve their dreams.”
FLO the women wing of FICCI encourages and promotes entrepreneurship and professional excellence in women across all states and levels of economic activity. As a body of eminent women entrepreneurs and professionals, FLO recognizes its responsibility, its strengths and its role in the area of encouraging and promoting empowerment of women through support in traditional and non-traditional livelihoods.
FLO aims to dedicate its strengths as an independent charter to help create sustainable employment or enterprise opportunities especially in the non-traditional areas for women.
