Congress delegation met Odisha Governor, demands justice for the Kunduli gang rape victim

Bhubaneswr: Congress Party delegation met the Governor and submitted a memorandum seeking justice for the Kunduli gang rape victim. ₹50 Lakhs compensation,land,house and complete rehabilitation are demanded.

Addressing the media our PCC President Sri Prasad Harichandan said,”Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik should handover charge of Home Department to any other minister”.

 

The team led by Pradesh Congress Committee president Prasad Harichandan included former PCC presidents Niranjan Patnaik and Jayadev Jena and former MP Pradeep Majhi submitted an eight-point charter of demands.

Later, speaking to reporters, Harichandan said they want justice to be provided to the victim and immediate arrest of the culprits.

Majhi alleged that as Government officials are involved in the incident, the State Government is trying to suppress the issue.
