IT Conclave 2018 by IT Association of Odisha is set to focus on Smart City Smart Link

Bhubaneswar: “The IT Association of Odisha (ITAO) is hosting the 5th IT Conclave 2018 at Bhubaneswar on 20th February 2018. Our aim is to provide a platform for all stakeholders to meet and interact face to face, launch IT related products with right customers, create awareness among the possible buyers with live demonstrations there” announced Soubhagya Routray, President, ITAO. He was addressing a Pre Event Press Meet today in Bhubaneswar.

The unique and exclusive one day Conclave is focused on ‘Smart City Smart Link’, which is expected to boost the linkage between the major IT sector players and the Smart City Bhubaneswar Authority for a joint endeavour in future days.

The Conclave organizer ITAO is a consortium of over 400 members of IT Industry across the state and constitutes more than 75% market share of Odisha’s IT business by uniting both IT professionals and business sector people.

“Our objective is to provide a common platform for mobilizing the IT resources of the State and utilize the same for generating awareness and mass employment” said Srinibash Tripathy, Secretary, ITAO.

IT majors like ADOBE (USA), CSDC (USA), EPSON (Japan), QUADGEN (USA) etc. are set to participate in the conclave with their new generation IT products and collaboration prospects in Odisha.

Apart from them, Odisha based major Companies, various Depts. of Odisha Government, Research Institutes, Educational Institutions, Universities and IT majors are scheduled to join the program. More than 200 buyers from the state are listed to be part of the event to grasp the newest products from national and global IT companies with innovative and creative ideas for the next level IT business.

Mrs. Nimeshika Natarajan, ITAO Core Group member and Manager, Trade Research, World Trade Centre, Bhubaneswar mentioned that owing to the easy accessibility and the wide range of IT products available, the demand for IT services has increased in the state and the country substantially over the years. The IT sector here has emerged as a major source of both growth and employment.

Among others, Prasant Kumar Swain, Vice-President, ITAO along with other office bearers were present during the Press Meet.

ITAO has planned to present Awards to the Best Performers from Govt, Corporate, PSUs, Distributors, SI Partners and Entrepreneurs during the event.

The Conclave is supported by the Electronics & Information Technology Department, Govt. of Odisha, Odisha Computer Application Center (OCAC) & STPI, Associate Partners are World Trade Center, Bhubaneswar & CITE along with Digital Media Partner OdishaLIVE and IT media partner VARINDIA.
