Bhubanswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik reviewed the preparedness of SRC as cyclone Fani is expected to make landfall on Odisha coast on 3rd May. As high windfall and heavy rainfall expected in adjoining districts, he has appealed people not to panic and stay alert.
All district collectors have been asked to stay prepared with micro plans with detailed activities, assignment of responsibilities to officials, relief materials and evacuation plans. They have been asked to keep all cyclone centres ready and pre-position all logistics support.
