However, the lal battis will be allowed only for emergency vehicles and enforcement agencies. CM banned the use of red beacon with effect from today following the Union Cabinet’s decision taken to check the longstanding ‘VIP culture’.
It should be noted that Union Cabinet announced no official or minister can use “lal battis” from May 1, 2017.
