Bhubaneswar: Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik will soon have a world-class football stadium. CM Naveen Patnaik announced this after the Hero Super Cup final match award ceremony.
CM Naveen Patnaik congratulated champions Bengaluru FC of the inaugural Hero Super Cup and all participants of the showpiece football tournament in the country. The sports-loving people of our state have made it a huge success with their enthusiastic participation in the matches and cheering for the teams.
“Hosting varied sports events with elan further bolsters Bhubaneswar’s emergence as the Sports Capital of India. After hockey and Olympic sports, our Capital City has proven itself by most successfully organizing the top-level football tournament of the country. Bhubaneswar will soon have a world-class football stadium making it an international soccer venue,” said CM Naveen Patnaik.
