Bhubaneswar: The CII@125 logo was unveiled in Bhubaneshwar today by Minister of Industries, Energy, MSME & Home, Capt. Dibya Shankar Mishra, Government of Odisha and Mr Hemant Sharma, Principal Secretary Industries & MSME, Government of Odisha with Dr Pradipta Mohanty, Vice Chairman, CII Odisha State Council. Prominent industry members of CII Odisha State Council along with Yi Bhubaneswar Chapter and IGBC Bhubaneswar Chapter were present for the occasion.
On this occasion, Minister and Principal Secretary congratulated
CII for its developmental agenda, adding that CII has been a pioneer for pathbreaking initiatives like Green Building, Education and Quality Excellence. Capt. Mishra and Mr Sharma also gave accolades to the Confederation for their proactive role in disaster management and working towards the economic growth.
Mr Sharma, Principal Secretary appreciated CII for its industrial
intervention in the state since 1984 and specially mentioned Enterprise Odisha as a signature initiative to support industrial development in the state and urged all stakeholders to work in close partnership with CII in the State.
2020 is a milestone year for CII as the institution reaches its 125th year. In order to signify the attainment of 125th year , CII has taken a theme of “ Business & Beyond”. To commemorate and celebrate 125 years of CII, the Confederation is incorporating the vision elements of India@75 for positioning CII as #cii4india by organizing initiatives from January to December 2020. Celebrating 125 years in 2020, CII aims to reinforce its deep alignment with India’s journey and renew
its vision for integrating with society through various social impact initiatives.
