Bhubaneswar: CBI to take Odisha BJD MLA Pravat Biswal on five-day remand for interrogation. A special CBI court here today allowed the CBI to take BJD MLA Pravat Biswal on a five-day remand for interrogation.
It should be noted that CBI produced MLA Pravat Biswal before the court this afternoon after his arrest last night. It sought a permission to take the arrested MLA on Five-day remand for further interrogation which was granted by the judge. He was arrested last night after questioning in connection with the alleged Seashore Chit Fund Scam in the state.
