Calming counselling by NCERT to alleviate the concern of COVID-19

Bhubaneswar: In the midst of the ongoing lockdown phase owing to the COVID-19 pandemic, the mental health well being of the students is affected. Thus, to address the mental health concerns of the students, National Council Of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) is providing “Counselling Services for School Students” through its trained Counsellors. Children who wish to seek guidance can get in touch with the Counsellors on WhatsApp, phone or through e-mail. The Counselling Services is provided free of charge.
Smaranika Pattnaik from DAV Public School, Pokhariput, Bhubaneswar has been chosen as one of the Counsellors from Eastern Region to help students and parents to address their mental health concerns.
