BJP president Amit Shah kicked off BJP’S campaign in Odisha; BJD & Congress failed to bring prosperity in Odisha

Bhubaneswar: BJP national president Amit Shah addresses booth workers in Cuttack’s Salepur. Shah kicked off his party’s campaign in Odisha from today by meeting more than 30,000 booth-level workers in four crucial parliamentary seats—Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapada and Jajpur districts.

Addressing the party workers, he said that both BJD & Congress failed to bring prosperity in Odisha, despite being rich in minerals and natural resources; we assure for all-round development once voted to power in #Odisha in Elections 2019. “Congress ruled India for decades but poor did not even get basic amenities such as gas connections,medical benefits &electricity; people in Odisha are unable to benefit from schemes of Central government due to the narrow mindset of State Govt,” said BJP National president.

UPA government, under the the 13th Finance Commission gave only Rs. 79,000 crore to Odisha while, in the 14th Finance Commission, the Modi government has given Rs. 2,11,510 crore for the development of the state, said Shah.

Shah garlanded the statue of Utkal Gourab Madhusudan Das Satyabhamapur in Cuttack and. After garlanding Madhusudan Das’ statue, Shah visited his birthplace Satyabhamapur village.
