BJP delegation at Naveen Niwas to meet CM Naveen Pantaik, demands acceptance resignation of Dr Budhan Murmu from Govt service

Bhubaneswar: BJP representative team including Lekhashree Samantasinghar, Sameer Mohanty and others reach Naveen Niwas to meet CM Naveen Pantaik .

It should be noted that State Government is not accepting the resignation of an officer who has been fielded by the BJP as one of its candidate for the Assembly elections. Budhan Murmu, a doctor at Rangamatia Primary Health Centre in Mayurbhanj district, has been fielded by the saffron party as its candidate for Saraskana Assembly segment.

BJP alleged that though he had applied for voluntary retirement in October last year, the State Government is yet to accept his resignation and relieve him from service. As per Government norms, application for voluntary retirement should be accepted within three months.

I am hereby seeking appointment to meet you and request you to kindly accept the resignation of Dr Budhan Murmu from govt service so that he can contest from Saraskana
