BJP delegation meets Odisha Governor over alleged irregularities in poll expenses of CM Naveen Patnaik

Bhubaneswar: A team of the BJP delegates led by BJP Vice-president Samir Mohanty today met Governor SC Jamir seeking his intervention into the alleged irregularities in the poll expenses of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik.
Earlier BJP moved the Enforcement Directorate (ED) seeking a probe into the alleged irregularities in the poll expenses of Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik. BJP delegation including the party national spokesperson Sambit Patra had also met the Election Commission of India (ECI) on Thursday demanding disqualification of Naveen as a legislator for allegedly submitting false poll affidavit.
BJP had also moved the Income Tax Commissioner on Monday seeking a thorough inquiry into the alleged irregularities.
