Report by Debadatta Panda, Kalahandi: In the ensuing three tier Panchayat poll 2017 in the first round election BJP clean sweap in nine seats out of nine in Kalahandi. In Kalahandi total 36 ZillaParishad Zones out of which 3 Zones each of of Dharamgarh block,Koksara block and Jaipatna Block were polled on the first day i.e. on 13th Feb.2017 out of which all the nine seats taken by BJP.
The Dharamgarh and Koksara block are comes under the Dharamgark Assembly constituency of heavy weight cabinet minister HUD Puspendra Singhdeo and Jaipatna is his residence.And this shows the aggrievedness of the people of this area towards the BJD.Further in this poll the two of the most nearest follower alongwith the ZP president candidate of BJD are defeated.
The rulling BJD has taken help of Cine-star BJD leader campaigners in the district while BJP has taken their own local leaders and during last day campaign i. e. on 13th Feb Union minister Mr.Dharmendra Pradhan has addressed a meeting at Habaspur Zone under Junagarh Block. On the other hand Congress is leaded by ex-union minister Bhakta Dash and ex-MLA Gobardhan Dash.
BJD in backfoot for its Ration Cards issue as well as deteriorated health services and other essential services people of Kalahandi aggrieved with BJD.Specially the Minister and other MLAs are running with their only nearest followers and never lookafter the ground reality in their respective area.
The sitting MLAs including the minister always surrounded by the limited nearest followers and never look after the ground reality so that this type of situation happens,says a senior BJD leader on request that not to expose his name. On the otherhand the BJP is going with planning strategy alongwith their leader and so that they became scuccess. If this type of result will come then the BJP will form the ZP council. Still time will say what will be happen.
