Bhubaneswar: Sasmit Patra Donates 3 months’ salary to #CMRF, Provides Rs 1 Cr from MPLAD Fund towards fighting Coronavirus.
MP Sasmit Patra donated his three months’ salary to the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund. MP Dr. Patra announced to provide Rs 1 Crore from the MPLAD fund towards fighting Coronavirus. He also spoke to the District Collector of Mayurbhanj and started the process. “I hereby provide Rupees One Crore of my MPLAD Fund towards fighting Corona Virus (COROVID-19). In this regard spoke to District Collector of Mayurbhanj (my nodal district) and started the process. Mayurbhanj has special needs, being a tribal-dominated and at inter-state border,” said Dr. Patra.
