Biju Patnaik International Airport to get terminal no-3 soon at a cost of Rs 935 cr

Bhubaneswar: Biju Patnaik International Airport in Bhubaneswar  to get terminal no-3 soon; terminal to be constructed at a cost of at a cost of Rs 935 cr. This was informed by Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan lays foundation stone for a ‘link building’ to connect two terminals.

Construction for a new international terminal T-3 at a cost of Rs 935 cr will commence soon at the Bhubaneswar Airport. This will further help in enhancing international flight operations at the Airport says Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Odisha also receives the 2nd highest Viability Gap Funding (VGF) allocation among all States in India with a VGF amount of Rs.101 crores per annum, this will attract more airlines to operate in Odisha says Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

Biju Patnaik International Airport is one of the fastest growing airports in India and it has registered over 3 million passengers so far and in the future it will cross a whopping 3.5 million to 4 million passenger traffic annually. The added infrastructure will benefit people says Union minister Dharmendra Pradhan.
