Bhubaneswar: Bhubaneswar Inner Wheel Club celebrated its installation ceremony at Rotary Bhawan yesterday evening. Additional DGP, Prisons Mr. Arun Kumar Ray graced the occasion as Chief Guest. New President of the Club Niharika Ray Baral, Secretary Meeta Mohanty and other office bearers for the year 2017-18 were installed in the event.
Taking charge of the club which is part of Inner Wheel District – 326, Niharika Ray Baral furnished details of the club’s agenda for the year and that of the 25 service projects during the year spanning across various fields including women empowerment, health and environment.
Three girl students, of Rama Devi Women’s College, Satya Sai Women’s College and orphanage Aadruta, belonging to weak financial background were handed over a financial help of Rs.20,000/- during the occasion to pursue their higher studies.
Special edition of the Club’s annual bulletin ‘Sathi’ was also unveiled by the Chief Guest in the event. Vice President of the Club Sunita Das gave Vote of Thanks at the conclusion.
