New Delhi: A two-day National Workshop ‘Chintan Shivir’ organized by Department of School education and Literacy, Ministry of Human Resource Development concluded in New Delhi today.
The Union Human Resource Development Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar was the chief guest on the occasion. Shri Upendra Kushwaha, MoS, Department of School Education & Literacy and Shri Satyapal Singh, MoS, Department of Higher Education were present on the occasion.
HRD Minister Shri Prakash Javadekar who was an active participant on both the days, termed the workshop a huge success. Shri Javadekar in his concluding remarks said that the ‘desire among the participants to do something for the country’ was the best thing about this workshop. The Minister said that the people are contributing on all aspects of Digital Education and it pleases him when he reviews the progress made.
The Minister assured the participants that the endeavor will be carried forward as education is national agenda and we believe in people’s participation and education transformation.
The National Workshop on School Education divided the participants into five groups, wherein they discussed about Digital Education (Students and Teachers), Experimental Education,Life Skill Education, Physical Education and Value Education, and thereafter made presentations and recommendations to the Union Human Resource Development Minister.
