Batoi Hosts a Cloud Seminar Titled “Smart Business on the Cloud” in Association with WTC Bhubaneswar

Bhubaneswar: Batoi in collaboration with WTC hosted a seminar “Smart Business on the Cloud” in Bhubaneswar on October 28, 2017.

Technology is increasingly being used by organizations across industries to enable and improve their
business performance. One of the technological innovations that has revolutionized the way people and
businesses work in today’s world is cloud computing. Cloud is a shift in the consumption and delivery of IT with the goal of simplifying how to manage complexity more effectively. It has provided organizations with an opportunity to leverage its power for achieving better IT productivity, agility and competitive advantage via infrastructure-free IT.

The seminar focused to be an educational and networking event, comprised of talks and demonstrations and was specially designed for organizations across various industry verticals to provide them an insight into how they can reorient their business processes with the help of cloud computing and to help them understand the best practices and solutions to achieve greater productivity in their business. The attendees were delved into how potential cloud solutions can change the way they work.

The seminar started with the welcome address by Ms. Nimeshika Natarajan, Manager, Trade Research, WTC Bhubaneswar.
This was followed by an introductory talk on “Application of Cloud Computing for SMEs” by Mr. Ashwini Kumar Rath, Founder Director & CEO, Batoi. Increasingly, Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs) are embracing cloud computing which enables them to grow faster. Yet, some have been slower to explore these opportunities. The talk dwelled on giving an insight on cloud computing. Mr. Rath then discussed on the IT challenges and basic technological requirement that organizations need in the contemporary times and explained the working of cloud computing and how organizations can manage their business on the cloud by using mobility and applications like Ecommerce, Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Workflow Management and Knowledge Management, with infrastructure on the cloud to improve their operational efficiency and save on operational cost.
When asked about Batoi, Mr. Ashwini Rath, said, “Cloud services are changing the way of software making and usage. We shall launch our services for Indian SMEs in the month of January with apps on Ecommerce, Customer Relationship Management, Workflow Management and Knowledge Management”.

Further the seminar witnessed a demonstration of the Batoi Cloud Platform (BCP), an instantly deployable solution, using which organizations can build, use and manage website and software applications online that is scalable and secured. The demonstration was shown with a special focus on solutions for Small and Medium-sized Enterprises (SMEs). The session was undertaken by Mr. Dipankar Mohanty, Business Analyst, Batoi.
The seminar provided a unique opportunity for the attendees to understand the concept, application and to discuss the prospects for future implementation with Batoi Cloud experts in a lively Q&A session.
