Bhubaneswar: Astral Institute of Management Studies (AIMS) Bhubaneswar, in collaboration with Institute of Entrepreneurship Development (IED, MSME, Government of Odisha) has started a two-week Entrepreneurship Development Programme, from 15th February 2018 to 28th February 2018, in its Bhubaneswar campus.
Designed for students pursuing professional degrees in management and technology this EDP has covered several foundational aspects of entrepreneurship management. Participants are being trained in areas of Idea Generation, Market Survey, Startup Laws, Intellectual Property Rights (IPR), Startup Policy, Startup Financing, Social Media Management and Personality Development etc. In addition to these knowledge sessions, the institute has also planned several experience-sharing interactions with established entrepreneurs and entrepreneur educators.
Shri Anand Patro of Surabhi Probiotic Dahi, Prof Niranjana Das of AIMS, Prof Kamala Kanta Dash of Kalinga Kusum Foundation and Advocate Saumitra Subinaya have been invited to train students in different aspects of startups.
The programme was inaugurated by Mr Sangram Mohanty of IED and Mr Sarat Padhi, a packaging industry leader. Prof Alok Dash, the Director of AIMS has conceptualized this programme and is coordinated by his colleagues Mr. D. Bisoi, Ms. S. Dash and Mr. S. Behera
