Bhubaneswar: With rising demand for herbal products, Apollo Herbals Pvt. Ltd, the Chennai based herbal healthcare products firm, has now shifted its focus to the eastern part of the country and will set up a 300 crore manufacturing unit in Odisha. The plant which will be a fully automated unit will be set up within a 40 km radius of Bhubaneswar. This automated plant will manufacture the first of its kind herbal products which are cow urine and Ayurvedic based with 0% chemicals and 100% natural herbs. The company which has its presence in Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Sri Lanka and Malaysia is estimating a turnover of 100 crores in Odisha in the first year. Dr. Magheswara Rao, the architect and Managing Director of the firm was present at the press conference and elaborated the benefits of the products to the press.
Briefing the media, “Dr. Mageshwara Rao, Managing Director, Apollo Herbals Pvt. Ltd said, “We take the raw urine from the cow and add medicines in it to make it distilled which further increases the potential of the herbs. These herbs will help in the brain development of children and also boost the digestion system. After 12 years of rigorous research we have created medicinal combinations for cancer, obesity, diabetes and hyper tension. We have also done tie-ups with many Goshalas for their self sustenance and the plant will also generate employment opportunities at various levels for many people”, he further added.
The range of health care products include ARK D Diabetese that consists of natural active ingedients like Trigonella Foenum Graceum or fenugreek which is a high soluble fibre helps in lower blood sugar, Syzguim or Black plum which controls conversion of excess starch to sugar, Momordica Charnba or Bitter Buord and Azadirachta or Neem. ARK for Health, a product containing Tanrikai, Adhimaduram, Nellikai, Kadukai, Tulsi and Aswagandha in it which helps in reducing high Blood Pressure, tonning of liver and promotes good digestion. It also has anti ageing properties in it and helps reducing weight.
Some other products include ARK O for Weight loss that helps in reducing weight. It has active ingredients such as Garcinia which contains powerful ingredients called Hydroxycitric Acid (HCA) that causes our body to naturally burn fat and detox unwanted excess waste. It also contains Gumar leaves, Guggal, Banana tree shaft pith that helps in removing excess fat by inducing diuretic action.
Apart from these Apollo Herbals have launched a range of beauty care products such as Kesh Dhara hair oil, KESH hair booster, KESHNIKHAR hair spa, KOYLA- Natural Heena based hair colourant and KAYASKALPA face pack and face wash. The products are entirely herbal in nature.
