Bhubaneswar : AdityaBirla Public School UAIL Campus, Rayagada celebrated its 4th Annual Day with great zest, vibrancy and elation at the school premises.
Principal Mr L.N Dash welcomed the Chief Guest Mr. N.Nagesh, the Unit Head & President- UAIL Doraguda, Ms. N. Srilakshmi, President, Utkalina Ladies Club, Guest of Honour Mr. Jasbir Singh, Cluster HR Head and other dignitaries. The theme of the Annual Day of this year was Incredible India.
The Students presented a Cultural Fiesta visualising the cultural ethos of India, its impeccable legacy of history and its enviable repertoire of awesome geographical diversity. The celebrations included various song and dance performances, Odissi, Bihu, Bhangra, folk dance of Bengal, Ghumar, Dandia and PaikaAkhada etc. On this occasion, 4th issue of school magazine, ARUNODAYA was released by the Chief Guest. The annual school report was presented by the Principal Mr Dash.
In his address Mr. Nagesh congratulated the students & their proud parents, teachers and Principal for the brilliant success of the students in the CBSE Class X exam this year. He has declared to open Senior Secondary Classes with all facilities and modern infrastructure in 2020. 248 students received awards and accolades for various Inter/Intra School Competitions from the guests.
Guest of Honour Mr Jasbir Singh, Cluster HR Head-Odisha Zone appreciated the performance of students in academics as well as in sports. He was very much pleased to witness the cultural programme which showcased unique culture of Odisha as well as other states of India in form of dance performances.
Mr T.M Prakash, HR Head & Trustee presented the certificates and mementos to 11 students who attained 100% attendance last year and congratulated the school team for fabulous result both in CBSE and other Inter School Competitions.
