Talcher: Sri Sri Vishwakarma Puja is being celebrated with religious fervour at NTPC Talcher Kaniha from today. Sarvajanina Puja Committee,NTPC Kaniha is organizing the puja. The puja began In the early hours during which employees took part in the Kalash Yatra.
Later Shri Sanjeev Kishore,Executive Director ,Talcher Kaniha along with Smt Monika Kishore,President ,Tanvi Director, in the puja along with senior officials, members of Tanvi Sangam ,employees ,representatives of Employees Union and association at the puja pandal at PTS township of the power plant. Master Builder Lord Vishwakarma Puja is an important festival for the power station and it is celebrated with enthusiasm every year among the employees.
As part of the tradition, a community prasadam sevan programme for employees ,workers and associates family members was organised at the central workshop of the plant, in which 4000 people joined the feast and took Prasad,
To mark the occasion, Musical and cultural programme is being organised. During the three days of Puja, employees including people from nearby villages will visit the pandal & seek the blessings of Lord Viswakarma. The immersion function will be organised on19.092018.
