Talcher: The closing ceremony for Vigilance Awareness Week 2019 was held on Nov 2, 2019 at NTPC Talcher Kaniha. The day was flagged off with a pledge taking ceremony, administered by CGM, Shri Sudip Nag. It was followed by a walkathon in the township area in which a large number of employees ,children and associates participated. The closing ceremony was held in the evening where awards were distributed to felicitate the participants of various activities under the VAW 2019.
Addressing the gathering, Chief Guest, Shri Sudip Nag, CGM NTPC Talcher Kaniha, gave a comprehensive view on integrity, its various facets and their usage in practical life. The Chief Speaker for the occasion, Shri G.K Kohli, DC CISF said, “The things we do without being watched determines our integrity.” Concluding the ceremony, Shri Tanmoy Acharya, AGM (Vigilance) also spoke on the need for upholding the values of integrity in today’s world.
