Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reviewed progress of development projects undertaken by oil, gas, steel PSUs in Rourkela,Sundargarh

Rourkela: Union Minister Dharmendra Pradhan reviewed the progress of several developmental projects being undertaken by our oil, gas and steel PSUs in Rourkela and Sundargarh along with Jual Oram, officials of SAIL, GAIL, NHAI, ,NBCC, local administration and several other stakeholders.

Minister Dharmendra Pradhan was apprised of the progress on upgradation of Ispat General Hospital and Rourkela Super Speciality Hospital. Advised officials of NBCC and Rourkela Steel Plant to expedite the ongoing work to make IPGMISSH operational by the auspicious Rath Yatra in June- July next year.

Minister Pradhan reviewed the progress of CGD project. Instructed officials of
GAIL to expedite work on the gas infrastructure projects & draw an expansion plan to enhance availability of environment friendly fuel in Rourkela, Jharsuguda, Sundargarh, Biramitrapur, Rajgangpur etc.

Minister Pradhan also, took stock of the progress of NH projects in Rourkela and Sundargarh. NHAI is undertaking highway projects worth Rs. 20,000 in Odisha including Rs. 3,000 Cr in Rourkela. Instructed officials for the timely completion of the NH projects including that on the Brahmani river.
