Report by Akshya Rout, Jajpur: Two cracker makers sustained serious injuries when crackers went off in an illegal cracker making unit in Malada village under Bari police station of Jajpur district on Tuesday.
” Both the injured persons have been identified as Sk. Matlub Ali (38) and Sk. Mitiri Ali (22) . Both sustained serious burn injuries. They were first admitted in the Primary Health Center (PHC) at Bari. Later, they were shifted to the SCB Medical College and Hospital in Cuttack as their condition was serious,” said the Pabitra Moharana a police officer of Bari police station.
We have also seized many newly made crackers from the house. Police are investigating the case, added the police officer.
