Bhubaneswar: Odisha Mining Corporation contributes Rs 500 crores to CMRF for supporting the State Government efforts to control COVID-19 situation, apart from Rs 250 crore interim dividend for Year 2019-20
The COVID-19 has created an extraordinary situation across the world. The State government has taken pro-active measures to contain the spread of the virus. The Chief Minister has appealed for support from all sections of the society.
Odisha Mining Corporation (OMC) as a responsible public sector company, is contributing Rs 500 crores to Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) for supporting the State government efforts to control the COVID-19 situation. This is apart from the Rs 100 crores already contributed to CMRF in February 2020.
Further, the Board of Directors of OMC declared Rs 250 crores as the interim dividend for the Financial year 2019-20
