Odisha: Dengue patients continue to get admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital, 6 admitted in ICU

Cuttack: Dengue patients continue to get admitted to SCB Medical College and Hospital here with the disease affecting 90 people, 9 patients admitted in ICU.

Despite administrative intervention to contain the dengue menace in Cuttack, fresh cases of the vector-borne disease continue to emerge.

Notably, a 60-year-old woman, who was suffering from dengue and undergoing treatment at the SCB Medical College Hospital here, died on August 13.

To ensure proper treatment to dengue patients, a special ward has been opened at the SCB.
