Sujit Kumar, who was Advisor Special Development Council to the government of Odisha, has been educated at Oxford and Harvard. Subhash Singh from Cuttack and Mamata Mahanta from Mayurbhanj have been working on the party’s organisational matters, Muna Khan from Nabrangpur district.
It’s a big surprise for me. I will work for all-round development of tribal areas in the State, says Sujeet Kumar after being named BJD candidate for Rajya Sabha Elections; Kumar is currently Advisor of Special Development Council.
Former MLA & senior BJD leader Ramesh Chau Patnaik appointed as Chairperson of Odisha Construction Workers Welfare Board in place of Subash Singh, nominated as a party candidate for Rajya Sabha polls. Patnaik was in the race for a RS berth, given cabinet rank.
