Odisha capital Bhubaneswar to host 22nd Asian Athletics Championship, 45 countries to take part

Bhubaneswar:  Odisha capital Bhubaneswar to host 22nd Asian Athletics Championship. Asian Athletics Championship scheduled to be held from July 1-4 the championship would witness around 1,000 athletes from 45 countries taking part in different events.
This was informed by the Athletic Federation of India (AFI) after its president Adille Sumariwalla in Bhubaneswar after visiting the Kalinga Stadium in the State capital Bhubaneswar.
AFI president paid a visit to the Kalinga Stadium and reviewed the synthetic as well as grass turf of the stadium. After the review Sumariwalla was of the opinion that this is one of the best fit stadium for the tournament.
Later in the day the AFI president held a meeting with Odisha Sports Secretary Bishal Deb at the State Secretariate.
