NIT Rourkela students candle march for Pulwama Martyrs

Rourkela: The students of National Institute of Technology (NIT), Rourkela organized a candle march against the Pulwama terror attack which claimed the lives of 44 CRPF personnel. They expressed solidarity with the families of the martyrs. The director of NIT Rourkela professor Animesh Biswas and the dean of student welfare, Professor Simanchal Panigrahi also participated in this candle march. Joining the march the director said, ”Attack on CRPF personnel in Pulwama is despicable. We strongly condemned this. We stand shoulder to shoulder with the families of the brave martyrs”, Said professor Biswas. More than 1000 students joined the candle march and paid tribute to the martyred CRPF jawans. They remembered the jawans as brave souls who sacrificed themselves for the country and observed silence for two minutes in their honour.
