Report by Badal Tah; Rayagada: JK Paper Mills, Jaykaypur, Rayagada has owned the prestigious NATIONAL SAFETY AWARD for the outstanding Safety performance and achieving “Accident Free Year 2016” in a glittering award distributing ceremony organized by the DGFASLI (Director General, Factory Advice and Labour Institute), GOI held at Dr. Ambedkar International Centre, New Delhi.
The award has been received by Sri P.K.Suri, Executive Vice President , JK Paper Mills, Jaykaypur from Sri Santosh Kumar Gangwar, Hon’ble Minister of State (independent charge) for Labour & Employment, Govt. of India.
In the past JKPM also bagged state safety award from Sri Prafulla Kumar Mallik, the then Honourable Minister (Ind. Charge), Steel & Mines and Labour & ESI, Govt. of Odisha in the presence of Sri G Srinivas, IAS, Principal Secretary, Labour & ESI and P C Das, Director of Factory & Boiler in a pompous function held at Hotel New Marrion, Bhubaneswar.
On the above achievement all employees of JKPM conveyed their gratitude to Mr. Suri, who also very recently was bestowed with Global Mills Manager Award. The denizens of Rayagada have applauded the diligence of employees under the leadership of Suri in maintaining optimum safety in the mills and its periphery.
