Report by Kahnu Nanda; Paradip : 71st Republic Day celebrated at Paradip Refinery. Shri S Sekar, Chief General Manager (Material & Contract), Paradip Refinery unfurled the National Flag at Paradip Refinery Sports Complex on this occasion. Shri S Sekar, the chief Guest inspected the parade comprising of CISF, CISF Fire Wing, DGR Security and Delhi Public School students. Shri S Sekar addressed the large gathering and paid homage to freedom fighters.
He thanked all employees and their family members, stakeholders, consultants, contractors and their teams, CISF, the local communities and nearby villagers for their whole hearted support and cooperation. On this occasion, the recently conferred award to Paradip Refinery for “Best Refinery Performance Improvement for 2018-19” by Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas on 19th Jan’2020 was shared with the employees of Paradip Refinery.
CISF contingent of Paradip Refinery presented a demonstration on drill about mitigating the toxic gas release scenario along with modern firefighting skill followed by a Cultural program by Delhi Public School, Paradip.
