Gopalpur : The Gopalpur town is set to revive itself as an art and eco-tourism hub of Odisha. The Public Arts in Gopalpur (PAGo) organised by Brahmapur Development Authority in association with the Department of handlooms, textiles and handicrafts & Department of Tourism, Govt. of Odisha would be formally declared open in the presence of the IG Southern Division, Berhampur.
Shri. Amitabh Thakur & Dist. Collector Ganjam, Shri. Prem Ch. Chaudhary and other dignitaries. The festival would be open till Sunday 26th night. Murals, Art installations depicting the maritime history and culture, workshop on sand casting and clay modelling would be in display. Walls will be dedicated for participatory murals from 9 am to 4 pm on Sunday (26th). Cultural performances celebrating Ganjam tradition and custom along with food stalls serving Berhampuri delicacies are the major attractions for later in the evening.
