Angul: Today a fire drill was organized at OP Jindal School by Zonal Fire Office under the guidance of Sri C.M.Routray, Dy. Fire Officer, Angul Circle and Sri. Manoranjan Biswal, Station Fire Officer, Chhendipada Fire Station & his team.
During the drill, students and teachers learnt to operate different types of Fire Extinguishers for mitigating any fire emergency situation. Sri Manoranjan Biswal, Fire Officer and his team demonstrated the techniques of rescue operation using Rope Gliding. All teachers and students of the school took active part in the drill.
Sri Chhanda Charana Das, Principal OP Jindal School emphasized on the importance of such drills and conveyed sincere thanks to the organisers.
Over all co-ordination for the fire drill was done by Fire & Safety Team of Jindal Steel & Power Limited, Angul.
