Mumbai: STAR Plus is all set to launch a new show titled, Mariam Khan – Reporting Live. Child artist Deshna Dugad will be seen playing the role of a quirky 8 year old Mariam whose unfiltered take on life will be a breath of fresh air.
While Deshna is all set to be the new child wonder on the small screen, she will also be seen in the much-talked film Thugs of Hindostan alongside Mr. Amitabh Bachchan.
Not only will she be seen sharing screen space with Big B on the big screen, we hear that the little girl has also made the veteran actor a fan of hers.
Deshna said, “There were a few action sequences for me in the movie and Mr. Bachchan came to me that day and said that he was very impressed by me. I was very happy and touched his feet in return and continued to do this every day before shooting began. It was the best moment of my life to have received such a huge compliment from Bachchan sir.”
