Alumni meet in Korua to collaborate on development

Report by Odisha Diary Bureau, Cuttack: Alumni of Lokanath Mohavidyala of Korua of Kendrapara district recently met to celebrate their friendship of 24 years. The 1994-1997 batch students of the famous local college met on the Republic Day last week at Kartakuda Math, located just opposite the college, to renew their commitment to college, to their friendship and to the local community.
In the meeting the alumni group decided to work and contribute to the development of their college and also stand for each other in times of need and crisis. The meet was attended by alumni and their family members. There was an experience sharing session and also a dedicated session for performance of children of the alumni. More than sixty students of the 1997 batch and their family members attended the meet.
Prabir Das, Prashant Sahoo, Khokhan Rout, Padmakanta Rout, Bhramarabara Panda, Biren Rout, Amaresh Parida, Pramod Das, Naresh Nayak, Dhiroj Mohapatra, Gagan Ojha, Adhira Nayak, Janmejay Nayak, Abhaprakash Rath, Narayan Sahoo, Samir Kar, Ramakanta Behera, Kamala Kanta Dash, Saroj Nayak, Siba Samantaray, Rabindra Prusty, Tusharkant Panda, Amulya, Swayamprabha, Tulasi, Nityananda, Saroj, Pratima, Sanjay and Gourang etc attended the meet and pledged to strengthen the organization and appeal other batches to come forward and work for the college and the nearby community. This “Bandhu Milan” (Meeting of Friends) has also initiated a road map for the next year’s meet of celebrating the 25 year of friendship in 2019.
