Bhubaneswar: Ollywood actor and politician Akash Das Nayak, who turned 35 on Sunday, preferred to celebrate his birthday with orphan kids at the Jeevan Jyoti Ashram here.
He celebrated with 80 special kids of Jivan Jyoti Ashram at Regional Museum of Natural History and Pathani Samanta Planetarium. The kids were overwhelmed as a star made their day.
The kids were delighted when the actor turned up with gifts galore and spent the entire day dancing and celebrating the day with them.
“On every occasion; be it my birthday, Holi, Ganesh Puja or any other festival, I come down to these kids and celebrate with them. Happiness increases when shared,” said Nayak, who also urged everyone to make a little effort to come and visit the kids. “It could mean a world to them if we appreciate what they are doing under such circumstances,” he added.
