Bhubaneswar: As a part of its CSR activities, the Aditya Birla Group Company, Aditya Aluminum, have supported “Improved Agriculture Equipment” to the farmers of Derba and Narupada village of Ghichamura GP under Rengali Block in the district of Sambalpur. The objective of this is to help the farmers to do better farming which will yield maximum output. To mark this, one program has been organized recently in association with the Agriculture Dept., Rengali Block. Mr. Rabinarayan Nayak DAO (District Agriculture Officer) graced the occasion as Chief Guest. While speaking on the occasion, Mr Nayak explained the different agricultural schemes of the govt and applauded the company’s initiative of providing such equipment to the farmers and advised the farmers to take maximum advantage of it by applying it and improving the productivity.
Among others, Mr. Amiya Kumar Sahoo, ADO, Sambalpur, Mr. Pramod Kumar Naik, AO, Mr. Mamas Kumar Bhoi, AAO, Rengali were present in the occasion. Mr. Sahoo, ADO too narrated in a needful session on Organic Farming and its Scope for sustainable livelihood. During the event 45 Nos of High Speed Ploughs have been provided to the farmers of Village Development Committee (VDC) of Derba and Narupada. Mr. Satyanarayan Agrawal, Chairman, Mr. Gopal Krishna Panda were Present in the Event. The program was organized under the guidance of Mrs. Sweta Upadhaya and Mr. Manoranjan Behera.
