Bhubaneswar: Aditya Birla Group’s company Aditya Aluminium was felicitated with the Best CSR practicing company in a glittering ceremony “ CSR & HR Colloquium” which was organised by the Odisha CSR Forum today at Bhubaneswar. On behalf of the company Mr A. Satyanarayan, the Cluster CSR Head of Hindalco Sambalpur Cluster received the coveted award from the Minister of School & Mass Education of Govt. of Odisha Mr Sameer Das. The Odisha CSR forum also specially felicitated Mr Rajesh Gupta, the Cluster Head of Hindalco Hirakud Complex for outstanding contribution to the Aluminium Business Sector.
The Company’s CSR and Sustainability efforts have been highly applauded by the Juries of the Forum. The company has been taking numerous initiatives at Lapanga area in the Sambalpur district for the peripheral development of the adjacent villages and helping the people in their overall development and enabling them to become self-sufficient.
In the said colloquium, the Speaker of OLA, Mr Surya Narayan Patro graced the occasion as Chief Guest. Among others, Mr B K Mishra the Head of Odisha CSR forum and other senior dignitaries of other different companies were also present.
