Dhamra: Adani Foundation in association with District Health Mission organized a mega free health camp at Karanjamala GP adjacent to port premises. Shri Dwijabara Rout, Chairman of Bhadrak district Panchayat samiti inaugurated this health camp. Shri Dillip Sahoo, project officer of Bhadrak district, Shri Manoj Patra, BDO, Chandabali, Shri P. Chand, Tahasildar, Chandabali, Smt. Manashi Sahu, chairman, Chandabali Panchayat samiti, Smt. Padmalaya Mahalik, Karanjamal sarapancha along with other dignitaries were also present during the inauguration of this camp.By giving priority to primary health, many expertise, doctors and specialists joined this camp jointly organized by Adani Dhamra Port and District Health Mission and detected health diseases of the villagers and distributed free medicines to them accordingly. Patients availed treatment for various diseases related to gynaecology, paediatric, medicines and surgery.Adani Foundation ushered its best strives to provide transportation for commuting of the villagers from nearby villages and adhere benefits through this mega free health camp. Earlier information regarding the benefits of this camp distributed to the villagers through leaflets, posters and mikes. More than 800 villagers from nearby villages took the benefits of this health camp and local people, intellectuals; leaders praised such noble initiative of Adani Foundation. Joining this mega camp, Dr. Sailesh Kumar Dhal, senior doctor, Bhadrak District Hospital, Dr. Sushanta Kumar Samanta, Dr. Umesh Chandra Panda, Dr. Gouranga Charan Giri, Dr. G. Sahu, Medical Officer, Chandbali, Satyabrata Mahalik, Pharmacist, Primary Health Centre, Basudevpur, Pravat Kumar Dhupal, pharmacist, Community Health Centre, Basudevpur, Manoj Kumar Biswal of Barapur Primary Health Centre, Dr. Debesh Behera, Dr. Mandakini Sethi, etc. provided free healthcare facilities and treated the patients. This mega health camp was well organised by local villagers and officials of Adani Foundation.
