Adani Foundation holds Mega Heath Camp

 

· More than 850 villagers benefitted

Dhamra: A Mega Health Camp was organized by Adani Foundation in collaboration with Aswini Hospital, Cuttack and support of Gram Panchyat, Jagula at at Jagula Red Cross Cyclone Shelter Ground (Near High School) on 20th of December 2019. Around 850 villagers and Children were under medical examination with the health issues pertaining to Medicine, Cardiovascular, Orthopedics, Pediatric, Skin & VD and Obstetrics and Gynecology by the above mentioned specialist from Aswini Hospital and provided with free medicines. About 69 villagers were examined for Diabetic and lipid profile and provided with consultations, Medicines.

Wishing the best health of the villagers, Mr. Subrat Tripathy (CEO – Adani Dhamra Port) encouraged the organizer for the noble initiative and also appreciated the voluntary participation of the youth of the Panchayat in the camp. Adani Dhamra Port with its CSR wings has been undertaking activities for improving the quality of life of the people through the intervention of Education, Health, Sustainable Livelihood and Community Infrastructure. The attempt of Specialized Health Camp is a step to extend the health service to the needy who are residing far away from the district head quarter. The help of villagers, Youths and Opinion leaders has made the programme a success. Adani Foundation will continue working on the initiative for the wellbeing of the villagers and children.

The camp was inaugurated by Sarpanch Ms. Kanchal Bala Mahunta and Zilla Parishad Member Ms. Subhasini Das in presence of Ms. Balabhadra Lenka, Pramod Kumar Nayak, Dr. Priyanshu Tripathy (Cardiologist), Dr. Abishek Swain (Orthopedics), Dr. Chinmaya Barik (Pediatric), Dr. Prafulla Dixit (Medicine), Dr. Manali Pattanaik (Skin and VD), Dr. Rashmi Ranjan Das (O & G) and Dr. Bijay Kumar Sahu were provided treatment.
